I know I haven't posted in a long time, but we just had another outreach meeting, and I thought I should give you some more news about our trip.
I now only have a tiny bit more money to go before I have raised $2900 for my trip, so that's very exciting.
Anyway, today we had someone come into our meeting who has been to the Hope for Orphans orphanage for girls, and he talked about the girls, and what it will be like. Its very exciting! And it sounds beautiful. The orphanage has 60 acres, internet access, 24/7 elecricity, and 24/7 air conditioning. The founder of the orphanage, Dr. Job, wanted the girls to feel like they were in a palace, and for them to know that each one of them was valued and loved. As each of the girls come from major trauma, and most of their parent's have been martyred for their faith (or the girls were abandoned, simply because they are female), this is a very important thing to do.
We watched a video about the orphanage, and the girls look so sweet. I can't wait to meet them! Our team is preparing lesson plans, and skits to do for them, and planning ways we can give to them (for example, at our meeting next week we're all spending an hour or so making special bookmarks to give to each girl- 306 in total!- this is something we were told they would value, and actually get good use out of)
I won't write a lot, but here is the link to the orphanage's website, and you can watch the video on there too. I would really appreciate your prayer as we continue to prepare for our trip, and when we finally travel, on the 14th of March. Also, once we're in India, for safety (both physically and spiritually) and health, and that we'll be able to truly connect and minister to the girls.

Oh! And here is the design for our team t-shirts. We just saw this today, and we'll be getting the shirts on Friday, so its very exciting! We'll have three shirts (Black, Emerald Green, and a Golden Orange type colour) with the same design, but the colours of the design will vary, depending on what the colour of the shirt is. It should be really cool once they're made! (These are the colours for the orange coloured shirt)
